Why it exists

Most home advice is either a big renovation or a long list of things you’re already behind on.

The part in between gets skipped: knowing where the shutoff is, writing down the paint color, changing the filter before it’s a problem.

That’s what we make things for. One binder that holds everything your house needs you to know, and one short list each season that tells you what to look after next. Nothing fancy. Just the small jobs, written plainly, in an order that makes sense.

What we believe

1. A house doesn’t need to be perfect. It needs to be known.
2. Small and steady beats big and stressful. Fifteen minutes a week adds up.
3. The weather is a better planner than guilt. Let the seasons set the list.
4. Plain words. Name the thing, explain it once, move on.
5. Some jobs belong to a pro. We’ll always say which ones.
